I’m an instructor for the American Heart Association and American Red Cross and have taught several thousand people CPR, BLS, AED, Standard First Aid and Pediatric First Aid. I’m also a former EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) and worked in home healthcare.
I worked as a comedic actor for many years and try to bring a fun, interactive style to teaching. I also include as much hands-on instruction as possible to ensure that you understand the material you are learning.
My goal for every class is simple — that my students leave feeling confident they will be able to use the skills we practiced in a real medical emergency.
Amelia is a Life Coach & Creative Arts Therapist in private practice in San Francisco. As a Southern transplant out West, she brings a lot of down-home warmth to her work, as well as deep respect for each and everyone’s chosen path.
She coaches with a focus on self-acceptance and the belief that fulfillment is worth fighting for, and is especially interested in working with Mamas who want to take care of themselves & their families with more compassion, humor, and realness.
When Amelia’s not busy shouting things like, “Listen up, you don’t need to be Mary Poppins to be doing a great job!” from the rooftops, she’s really into toddler snuggles, intersectionalizing her feminism, and curse words.
